Hi, my name's Jennifer and I'm 18 years old. I live outside of Washington D.C. in Northern VA. I currently suffer from gender dysphoria ( gender dysphoria, explained ). I am finishing my senior year of high school and maintain a job where I work 32 hours a week. My family isn't very "cool" with this. Although they do love me, they don't understand that it's a real medical condition, and, on that note, it's hard for me to receive financial assistance from any of them, including my mother. I feel that after I undergo therapy and treatment, they'll be able to learn more about the severity of this disorder and learn to love and accept me for the person I am. This is sort of a last ditch effort. I work at a freaking grocery store and make very little. I'm not asking for any huge donations, ONE DOLLAR is absolutely fine! ANYTHING is fine! Please help me through my endeavor. I just want to be able to live a normal life, and since I can't control who I am, and have already lost my family's respect, I have nothing to lose. All money left over will be donated to the Aids Research Alliance of America
Thanks, Jennifer |
